• Choose a Subject
• Examine where you are located and if its a good spot for pictures
• Check the lighting(no shadows on a persons face)
• Go to a place where there are lots of trees that will canopy over your subject. Go somewhere on a cloudy day for the best lighting.
• If you want your subject to stand out, have them in the opposite color as their background

• Choose a drawing you are capable of drawing
• Draw in a space where you won't be bothered and can focus
• Draw slow and focus as much as possible to get the results you want
• If you mess up, continue and create something off of the area you messed up on
